Surface 2 Air has relaunched their website with new and more user friendly design. Furthermore their entire Autumn/Winter 2008 collection is now available in their online store.

We use the occasion to show you their sneaker line-up for the new season. Overall they present three styles, with two coming in several colorways. The Night Out sneaker is a more casual approach to the classic Budapester leather shoe. The Lace Up High Top comes in white with an all-over screenprint and also in two plaid variations.

Recently we have presented you previews of the Tisa/Phenomenon x MCM collaboration,as well as the "Obama For President" collection. The brand, created by Taz Arnold, and produced by Phenomenon in Japan, will be launching their first Fall/Winter collection this season.

In this preview we give you a first look at upcoming t-shirts, caps, as well as some accessories that will be hitting stores in the coming weeks.

We present you yet another part of the new Visvim Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Part of the drop are the Academia Blazer, Chino Cords, Waxed Engineer Cap and the Mil Spec Socks. Taking clear inspiration from classic English brands, Visvim presents their own take of the pieces. 

The blazer and matching chinos will make sure that you are properly dressed during the colder months. The new product is now available at Reinforce.

Once again Japanese brand Säglife and FTC have gotten together to collaboration on a series of product. This time they did not only work on a technical backpack, but to complement it, they also released some M-65 jackets. The M-65 jacket comes in a forest camouflage colorway and in a classic all black colorway.

The Säglife x FTC collaborative pieces are now available at Stless.

Sozyone aka Sozyone Gonzalez aka Sozyone Million or just Pablo Gonzalez is a painter, sculptor, photographer, graffiti artist and musician. For 2008 he has illustrated the Carhartt advertising campaigns.

Born in Brussels and influenced by his neighborhood, his artwork works around the world of villains, forgers, gangsters and crooks. For him they are the last heroes of modern society, the last survivors who stay with the old school ideals. Also the two advertising campaigns for Carhartt work around this world.

For Carhartt, Sozyone has exclusively designed three T-shirts that are only available at Carhartt stores across Europe. The MONKEY, the BIRD and the TIGER - all three T-shirt designs come with Sozyone's signature on the left sleeve and a unique Carhartt logo on the back.

This year, the Stussy tribe has increased its retail presence, hooking up with noted local retailers in each of the new cities. These Chapter Stores continue the unique aspect of Stussy culture that merges the local with the global. They also represent cities that have grown in stature within the “streetwear” community in recent years. This growth is due, in large part, to the efforts of a few people who’ve worked to change the retail landscape of those places.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks we will present you in-depth looks at the most recent Stussy Chapter Store openings and the people that are behind the respective stores.

In Washington, DC, COMMONWEALTH founder Omar Quiambao is that person. His vision has taken DC retail away from it’s traditional core, and transformed a stretch of Florida Avenue into a streetwear mecca. I spoke to him about the Stussy Chapter store and how it fits with the city and his other shops.

We give you a first look at the Swagger Fall/Winter 2008 collection, entitled "The Protagonist". The collection consists of several themes, as usual offering a variety of crazy all-over prints and patterns. 

Swagger offers a full cut & sew collection, as well as a pretty complete range of accessories in the new collection, including jewelry, hats, caps, bags, belts and more.

A new look for the classic slip-on from Vans. Out of the Vault LX series, this version takes two different stripe patterns. Bold yellow against a black and white. They are certainly a little wild, but still well composed. Get them now from Ripe. 

In the coming months Adidas will be releasing their 4 Elements of Hip Hop collection - a set of sneakers and apparel that is inspired by DJ’s, Graffiti Artists, MC’s and Bboys of past and present.

"The first set of sneakers focus on the B-Boy element and includes a Decade Hi, Superstar 2, and the Superstar 86 Bboy. The strongest of the set, the cardboard-colorup represents the surface break-dancers used to practice moves on when they flooded the sidewalks." Via Complex.

Nike has uploaded a Fall 2008 Sportswear feature and for the first time we see the entire collection, including all jackets, pants, windrunners and pieces by Loopwheeler. Even though you have seen a lot from the collection already it is worth checking it out in its entirety once more.

Furthermore they have included a nice feature on the production facilities of Loopwheeler and essays written by C.R. Stycek and other high profile artists. 

The feature is also impressive, because it is shown full screen. Definitely an experience, so check it out here.
