The Nike+ Human Race is taking place this coming Sunday, August 31rst. The latest commercial for the event has just surfaced, featuring one of the artists that will also be performing next to Kanye West and many others - Kelly Rowland. She will be performing in Paris this weekend.

Teaser images have been floating around the Internet for a while. Tomorrow the Original Fake x G1950 ashtray will be releasing, which features the Companion lying inside the ashtray. One has to love the title of the creation - "Your Pleasure Is My Pain".

This is the second series of an ongoing collaboration of screenprinted skate decks between Jeremy Fish and various artists. All decks are sold in a set of three and signed by Jeremy Fish himself. Only 300 of each design have been produced, even fewer have been signed.
In this deck series Jeremy Fish worked with some fellow artists on the deck graphics. The line-up includes Sam Flores, Matt Irving of Delphi Collective and Travis Millard.
The deck set is now available in the Upper Playground Online Store for 210 USD.
As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection, Futura Laboratories has come out with eyewear. Overall they released two pairs of glasses - one pair of sunglasses and one pair of regular glasses.
The design has been kept very classic, coming in black frames and a subtle Futura 2000 logo placement on the arms.

"Dread Meets Greensleeves," selected by director and DJ Don Letts celebrates the West London heritage (Shephard's Bush and Ladbroke Grove) of one of Reggae's most important labels - Greensleeves. From Barrington Levy to new millenium stars like Vybz Cartel, the label continues too offer a platform for the genres finest performers. The CD features inner artwork by Poets and Thieves featuring the disks famed selector. It drops on September 8.

The new Dr. Romanelli Autumn/Winter 2008 collection has arrived at Sophnet stores in Japan. This season the cutting master has played with leathers and with college logos and mascots. As usual a collection of unique pieces is the outcome, that one can almost treat like collectibles. Smart use of panels and some strong color combinations make up the new collection.

Yet another new t-shirt is being released by CLOT. On the front it features the print "Jesus Loves You" and on the back "Everyone Else Thinks You're An Asshole". The t-shirt comes in white and bright green, one being released at Juice in Hong Kong, the other one being released online.

The latest graphic from Original Fake is being presented - Better Fake Than Real. Definitely one of the nicest tees to be coming from the brand this season, so look out for it soon!
Artist Grotesk designed for 5Boro NYC a skateboard deck and matching t-shirt. The artist used his collection of stickers as an inspiration for the design. But not any stickers, weare here talking about the stickers that are placed in NYC next to store gates, letting owners know who to call in the case of malfunction. Grotesk collected lots of them and now used them for this design.
Both Goresk x 5Boro NYC pieces will be released on September 15th on the 5Borowebsite.

Continuing their 10th anniversary celebrations, The Hideout will be releasing tomorrow a new collaborative t-shirt with Supreme, that we already presented you a couple of weeks ago. The t-shirt comes in overall four colorways, features the "My Karma Drives Over My Dogma" slogan on the front and both the Hideout and the Supreme logo on the back.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 footwear collection, Alife presents the Kennedy High, which was first introduced last season. The casual shoe comes in a light brown and a black colorway, with premium leather uppers and a gum sole, overall similar to the Clarks Wallabee.

Undefeated continues to release new products out of their Fall 2008 collection. The latest release consisted of the U-Man Baseball t-shits and hoodies. Both pieces come ina variety of colorways and feature a baseball inspired pinstripe pattern in the fabric.

A nice and solid down vest is coming from Nexus VII this season. It comes in black and in hounstooth and we especially like that it is buttoned, instead of a zipper. Also the vest comes with Windstopper material, making sure that you are warm this Fall.

In the coming weeks we see yet another reissue of these Nike 80's classics, the Terminator. It will be coming in a vintage low version in the near future in a grey/navy and navy/red colorway. Look out for Hanon to receive them very soon.
Black Lightning is the bmx inspired brand by the Kicks/Hi crew from Hawaii. Now they have released a late Summer 2008 collection. Atmos once again joins forces with New Balance on the 576 model, which is celebrating this year its 20th anniversary. The Atmos x New Balance 576 "Hologram" comes with a black patent leather upper with a rainbow shine to it, pink elephant print on the heel, orange mid sole and a rainbow color inner sole.
Atmos will be releasing the sneaker on the 11th of September.

Dr. Martens take a fresh look at two of their models with their "Made in Monochrome" series for Fall/Winter 2008/09. Feature two shoes from the 1460 series - an 8 eyelet boot and a 3 eyelet shoe - the "Made in Monochrome" series striped the silhouettes down to their bare essentials and provide very clean and wearable looks. The all white 1460 8 eyelet is just damn good. Available in two weeks from oki-ni. Via Selectism.

A few weeks back the beautiful Burford shirt arrived from Real Real Genuine. Now, it's got some companions, as the rest of the Fall 2008 line is beginning to filter in. The offerings hinge on RRG's core interest - denim. Once again, the loose fit is available. This time it comes in a raw or relic wash redline selvedge. Accompanying those is reworked version of the RRG straight. The waist line has been reduced, making the sizing true rather than over-spec'd. In the model, the original RRG green and silver selvedge has been used. The newest item on the menu is the Jacket. No name. Few frills. In either distressed or raw, it features an exposed selvedge line across the yoke and down the sleeves. One hidden pocket for your valuables too.

We have seen Alife NYC skate decks before, but this time they worked with Girl Skateboards on a deck. They worked with a lot of their signature graphics, including the eyes and the repetitive Alife logo.
The deck is now available at Standard and go for a reasonable 65 USD.

Some of you might have heard of designer Miharaya Suhiro already, due to the on-going collaboration with Puma. As part of his own collection this season, the designer presents these fur sneakers.
At first one thinks a simple Chuck Taylor Low silhouette has been used and the back part has been covered with fur. In reality the designer created two different sneakers (front and back) and put them together. At a closer look you will see that not only the surface changes, but the sole as well. Very interesting idea and the outcome is great.
The Miharaya Suhiro fur sneaker is now available at Atelier New York.

Copenhagen's Norse Projects are on their Ps & Qs when it comes to their latest release of 5-Panel caps. Three distinct graphic influences are utilized - the Bauhaus, traditional African prints, and wood camo. The Bauhaus models are most subtle, as you can see above. wood camo stylings will be familiar to all SB fans. The African print set are the most striking, and take an early 90s twist back to the 5-panel.

A great new pack by Nike has arrived - the Dunk Hi Spark Pack. Consisting of a brown and a black Dunk Hi, both feature a melton wool upper with premium leather overlays. Two very solid sneakers, that could not better reflect the start of the Fall season.

University of Hawaii kicks off its first home game of the 2008 college football season this afternoon. In preparation, Fitted Hawaii releases the "MUA" tee. Mua means forward, and in essence works as a call to push to a bright future for the team. The caps both work with black denim, a nice look for the fall season. Nice to see Fitted continue to play on local interests. 
Proper has come out with a new series of New Era caps. Coming in a variety of colors,in classic canvas, the caps feature the Proper "P" logo on the front panels. The caps are now available.

At this event we were given the opportunity to create a one of a kind Air Force one that will be sold exclusively at The Attic Cambridge located at 563 Mass Ave, Cambridge MA. These shoes were made in a 12 pair run which makes them very limited. The color way is inspired by the Jordan Aqua 8 and features patent leather on the toe box and premium leather throughout, teal contrast stitching add a new life to the shoe. This shoe will release 4/11/08 which coincides with The Attic’s official grand opening.
Inspired by European crests, its buckle is shield-like in shape and darker in tone.
