Some good releases from Alife's fall line are now rolling into retail. Among them are two versions of the popular Everybody Hi. The best of those takes an America's Cup theme... and not just the race, it plays on the classic color-way of the Prada as well.he second is a clean canvas model. Also available is a rather remarkable Chuck, black with blue out/midsole. Almost a merger between Clarks and Vans.

A tribute to Pacino and De Niro, SA Studios presents an exhibition celebrating the release of A Righteous Kill. Estevan Oriel and Mister Cartoon combined their respective talents (photography and tattooing) to design the films poster. The show includes poster art and memorabilia from films featuring the two icons. 

Up until September 14th, the exhibition will live in the space between The Last Laugh and the LA Upper Playground Shop. Location, to be exact, is 131 East 6th, Los Angeles, CA. Thanks to Juxtapoz, we've got some images of the show preview. Check them out after the jump.

Mishka's Fall/Winter 2008 collection represents its most comprehensive set to date.The cut and sew product has expanded, meaning a greater array of bottoms and outerwear. Subtle detailing drives the new garments, and new pieces meld with old favorites. 

For denim, the popular Alexei model returns. Inspired by late-40s cuts, it is a straight leg with a low waist. New is the Boris jean, a slim cut, extremely limited denim model. 60 pairs each of two colors are produced and will come out only on the Mishka online store.

Outerwear options feature some leather jackets and for tops, we see some nice hoodies and shirts to fit all tastes. As to be expected, Mishka has also got some eye popping New Eras and other strong accessories.

Known primarily for fitted caps, Estate LA's most recent release returns to the one size fits all model of the snap back. Checkboard fabric, in three color options, forms the base of the design. The Estate logo "E" proudly embroidered up front.

20 years before there was YouTube, and Macaca, Critical Mass arrest videos, and the RNC, Clayton Patterson was capturing video that exposed the struggle between community activists and the often abusive NYPD. He dedicated his life to documenting the final era of raw creativity and lawlessness in New York City's Lower East Side, a neighborhood famed for art, music and revolutionary minds. Traversing the outside edge, he's recorded this dark and colorful society--from drag and hardcore, heroin, homelessness, to political chaos and, ultimately, gentrification.In the LES of the late 70’s and early 80’s, it seemed that it was impossible to take a boring photograph.

Realizing this, Patterson vowed to himself not to miss a moment, and he was a ubiquitous presence on the streets, in bars, and at parties, shooting literally hundreds of thousands of photographs and countless videos that captured the essence of the era in what might have been the most thrilling neighborhood on earth. For native New Yorkers, looking at his documents is like staring through a window to our own past, and the drugs, piercings, mohawks, kangols and graffiti on display are, in this context, not kitschy and nostalgic. Rather, they express the rich diversity of many little communities living together in a troubled little niche of the city, long ago changed beyond recognition.

Captured will be shown this Friday, August 22 at the New Museum, Bowery, New York. Following the film, Clayton Patterson will be available for a Q&A. Event begins at 7:30.

Brooklyn Projects collaborates with C1rca for the third time and built a shoe from the ground up. Overall only 150 pairs of the shoe have been produced, with 50 pairs going to selected stores in Europe and to Brooklyn Projects Japan, the other 100 pairs will be released in the US. 

The official release date is August 23rd.

The Zoo York Institute is proud to announce that its highly-anticipated new series of collaboration artist boards will hit shops in early September. Inspired by Gotham’s most unbreakable resident – the cockroach – Zoo York’s new pro model board series features custom roach graphics by five renowned NYC artists including Greg Lamarche (SP.ONE), Steve Nishimoto (Nish), Kyle Talbott (Mesk One), Stephen Halker, and Jules Kim (Bijules).
