Original Fake Fall/Winter 2008 Jackets
A nice series of jackets out of the Original Fake Fall/Winter 2008 collection has been released. Their popular Gore-Tex jacket has returned this season, after being one ofthe most popular pieces in past seasons. Once again it comes in black and features on the zippers a subtle Kaws Chompers teeth design.
Furthermore they have released a lightweight jacket with mesh lining, that just like the Gore-Tex jacket also features Kaws Chompers zippers.
Both the Gore-Tex jacket and the lightweight Fall jacket are now available in two colorways at L'Intrus.

This weekend Kaws opened his "Saturated" exhibition at Gallerie Emmanuelle Perrotin in Miami and with it an exciting series of the artists shows will come this Fall and next Spring.
Thanks to Supertouch we can give you a look at the exhibition and works. Kaws mostly presented Sponge Bob and Smurf pieces in this exhibit, characters that we had earlier only seen on works, done for Pharrell and other private collectors.

Estate LA continues their collaboration with Leroy Jenkins. As usual they sources some vintage fabrics for an upcoming series of caps. All in all two new caps will be released soon, featuring the Leroy Jenkins logo as a 3D embroidery on the front, just like we have seen before on their collaborative caps.

In time for Halloween, Bape is proposing a couple of themed crewneck sweaters. Their iconic characters got the Halloween remix. Two different style crewneck sweaters are now available at Cliff Edge.

Winning outerwear and accessories fill the line for Gallery 1950 in the Fall 2008 season. Collaborating with Mammut, a basic and super functional gore-tex rain jacket is on the way. Add to that, the always in style varsity jacket (a stadium coat in their language). On the sweater side, there is a full zip and a nice wool long sleeve with contrast strips. Beanies and painters pants round out the collection.

We gave you a first preview of the Union x CLOT t-shirts a couple of days ago. Now some more information on the release. There will be a black and a white t-shirt, both remixing the iconic Union logo. The black t-shirt is an exclusive for Juice Hong Kong and the CLOT online store. The white one will be released at Union NY and Union LA.
The Union x CLOT t-shirts will be released in limited quantities on September 22nd.

With much anticipation we are all waiting for the next issue of Arkitip, issue 48. This time they worked with Ryan McGinness.
"The book titled Aesthetic Comfort is published by Arkitip on the occasion of the Aesthetic Comfort exhibitions in the Fall of 2008. This artist’s book features details of McGinness’ paintings converted to coarse halftones and printed in 4 fluorescent inks: orange, yellow, pink, and green. It will accompany each issue edition, which is packaged in a custom designed box made exclusively for Arkitip by Incase."
Once again a great collectors box, produced by Arkitip and Incase. The box set is limited to 2000 pieces. We will let you know when it will release.
After releasing a couple of months ago the Darth Vader vinyl toy in Japan, it seems like Kaws this time worked on the Stormtrooper. The classic Star Wars character got the Kaws make-over and now features the cross eyes, as well as other trademark attributes by the NYC artist.
We predict that the Original Fake Stormtrooper toy will only be released in Japan, as the license agreement does not cover Europe and the US. But more on that once we get closer to the release. Pic via Anytime.

Honeyee got together with Japanese brand Nonnative to make the Ripstop Short Work Jacket. The workwear inspired jacket, comes in a khaki colorway with blue accents, including the Honeyee logo on the lining.
The jacket is now available at the Honeyee Store.

The bubble chair gets sexed up by Insa in this collaboration with Rousseau. Light sensitive material forms the graphic structure. The whole thing is a contemporary twist on a retro classic. 
Grab a cushion. Get comfortable. There is more to the streetwear world these days than tees and caps. Cushions are coming into the fold, an early step into home decor. Three designs are out from the Real Mad Hectic camp - slogan, camo and cosmic trigger. A few different flavors to meet different tastes. 
There is a wonderful brewing trend towards classically tailored cycling apparel. Rapha is one of the brands producing technical wear with an eye to clean lines and sharp looks.Their plus 4s are made with Schoeller Nanosphere to repel water and stains. Zip pockets keep from dropping your belongings on the road and a padded seat keeps your bum happy. Olive Green and Black are the two options.

Limited to 500 the newest version of the Greedy Genius Cool Breeze is the "Purpo." Highlighted by a purple patent accent, the upper is full nappa leather. Heel tab has a faux croc skin embossing. Purple accent also builds out the tongue and ankle padding.

Virginia's finest, The Clipse, are about to embark on their own garment industry hustle. Set to launch in full this November, Play Cloths with have everything from tees to denim. Their fitted game will also be on high, as this preview proves. They gone pretty basic, using the hat as a conduit for the two main logos.

Commonwealth and Stussy combine on the "Sixty Eight" tee. This shirt features a large photo print of Tommie Smith and John Carlos' historic act of protest at the Summer Olympics in 1968. On the back reads "In This Great Future...You Cant Forget Your Past..." Following their previous collaboration hinging on MLK's DC speech a nice theme is developing in these co-branded shirts.
Japanese brand Ubiq has released their latest model in their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The Ilis comes this time in white, purple and black. They kept an overall classic look on it, featuring leather/suede uppers and a clean white sole.

Colette is bringing another exciting exhibition to Paris this Fall. "Off Off Bowery" is an art exhibition curated by Aaron Bondaroff and Jen Brill. They brought together an exciting mix of artists out of different genres and put together the Off Off Bowery show.
It will run at Colette from September 29th until November 1rst. Another reason to drop by Paris.

This time they got together with New York brand Steven Alan. Steven Alan is well known for its shirts and that's exactly what they worked on. They created one large plaid shirt and one more refined check shirt, both available now.

Arriving at Atmos later this month is the Nike ACG Urban Night Pack. The pack consists of the Terra Humara, Air Revaderchi and Air Wildwood, all coming in a mix of black/purple/pink/blue, with a nice use of different premium materials and splatter on the sole. Matching the sneakers there are windrunners, as well as beanies.
Atmos will be releasing the pack on the 4th of October, with pre-sales starting on the 25th of September.

I just found a gang of shit on the scion website that has nothing to do with cars at all.
A few weeks ago we were invited to an exclusive invite only DJ Clark Kent and NIKEiD event in New York. At this event we were given the opportunity to create a one of a kind Air Force one that will be sold exclusively at The Attic Cambridge located at 563 Mass Ave, Cambridge MA. These shoes were made in a 12 pair run which makes them very limited. The color way is inspired by the Jordan Aqua 8 and features patent leather on the toe box and premium leather throughout, teal contrast stitching add a new life to the shoe. This shoe will release 4/11/08 which coincides with The Attic’s official grand opening.
Inspired by European crests, its buckle is shield-like in shape and darker in tone.
