Union LA – a closer look

Here at HighSnobiety we are obviously big fans of good design and thus also fans of great architecture and interior design. Since we come across and also report about lots of shops out there, we like presenting you some of them once in a while so that you have a better fell about what we are talking.
Not too long ago we visited Union LA. First opened in NYC many years ago, they also opened a location in LA to bring to LA that same selection of outstanding streetwear. In the mean time Union LA has been renovated and just looks great. The store is located just nex to Stussy and UNDFTD on La Brea in LA.
When you enter the store you see right away the clean design. In front of you you see a massive wooden wall, that also incorporates the cashier. On the right side you have the tee wall. They found a pretty practical way of organizing the mass of tee’s nowadays. They basically show one of each design and the sizes are then arranged like record covers. On the left side of the store you have a row of hot japanese brands: Visvim, Neighborhood, W)taps, Unrivaled and more.
There is also a first floor in the store. The first floor carries Bape, BBC/IceCream and Original Fake. I think at the time they had more choice of Bape than any Busy Work Shop  we had been to before.
Overall, the renovated Union LA looks fantastic and its a great shopping experience. You can definitely say, that the interior reflects the high profile of the brands that they carry! Do not miss this on any LA trip!
Now head on after the jump to see the pics of the store.
