Arkitip Issue 38 – Peter Beste

Arkitip is proud to announce their first issue edition of 2007 with photographer Peter Beste.

Over the last four years, New York based photographer, Peter Beste has been photographing Norwegian Black Metal musicians. This unique subculture in the context of Norway’s magical landscape, mythological background, and strong sense of culture has been the focus of this on going documentary project. His first photography book Norwegian Black Metal was published in Japan in 2005. Beste has had solo exhibitions in London, New York, San Francisco, Austin, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Osaka, Oslo, and Bergen.
