Wemoto Spring/Summer 07 Preview

One of the great things when you run a site like HighSnobiety is to see brands evolve and growing, going from one step to the other.
We came across Wemoto some time last year. It’s a young brand that grows and now presents with their Spring/Summer collection the fourth one and there is a difference of night and day between what you see now and what we saw still a few months ago. Streetwear is moving at such a speed these days, that it’s hard to keep up.
Wemoto is a brand out of Germany and we believe that for some reason you can clearly see that the line is European and not from the US or Japan. The style of their graphics is similar to other key European players in the market. It’s nice to see these differences and thus to have a good variety in the marketplace.
In the new collection they present several different themes. You can see sneaker inspired designs, music inspired designs, comic inspired designs and various other styles in the collection, giving it a brought spectrum. The new line also offers girls pieces and we see for the first time a good line-up of hoodies. They clearly made it to the next stage. For the new Spring/Summer 07 line they also created a really nice physical lookbook, that you should check out, if you get the chance.
