Rockers NYC Spring 07 Preview

Rockers NYC is giving a first look at their Spring 07 collection and it looks like it will be an interesting one all over again. Rockers is also one of those brands that has clearly found their very own recognizable style.
Many people are so worried about the streetwear industry and about so many new brands popping up everywhere. To be honest, I don’t think there is anyhting to worry about or to be pissed about. The brands that find their own style, icons, signature – the brands that are doing a good job – these brands will survive and dictate the direction that streetwear is taking in the future. All the copycats and followers will over time anyways disappear, because the consumer cannot be fooled forever.
Anyways, getting back to the Rockers NYC Spring collection, they also present a Marc Rude collaboration. Marc Rude used to be one of Punk Rock’s artiste extraordinaire. Very interesting collaboration. The new collection will be in stores as of April.
