Here we take a bit of a closer look at the Vans Syndicate x Chaz Bojorquez collaboration sneakers, that are part of the Vans Syndicate Spring 07 collection and in stores now.
Chaz Bojorquez is one of the O.G. East Los Angeles “Cholo” style graffiti writers and has been doing it for over 40 years now. His artwork had major impact on the aesthetic of early 70’s skateboarding through the DogTown crew. The collaboration consists of a Sk8 Hi and a Slip On. The artwork has been embroidered onto the sneakers, indicating brush strokes of his art. Also there is a signature embroidery on the inside collar lining and the CS symbol on the tongue labels and heel embroidery. Lots of details, exactly what we expect from the Syndicate line!
