A while back during our visit to Berlin, Nike presented a new initiative in the iD Studios for the 25th Anniversary of the AF1. Basically you could create an AF1 choosing from 25 different white tones. In the end you really had the choice between white, beige and light grey colors and lots of different leathers. Something that seemed at first boring, ended up being a hard choice and almost always resulted in nice sneakers, which one can clearly not say about most iD creations.
The Nike Berlin team also let us create an AF1. We kept it as simple as possible and chose an all white AF1. Two types of leather: white premium and croc. The AF1 also comes with the custom tag (silver or gold) and the nice shoelaces. We just received it the other day and it’s so nice, that you don’t even want to wear it!
