Livestock just received the latest Converse x John Varvatos shipment for Spring 2007. They got in 3 Jack Purcell and one Chuck Talor low. Overall very simple colorways and most of them feature no laces, one of the features that the Varvatos collection for Converse has implemented.
Sometimes it is interesting how a company like Converse needs a high fashion designer to design for them a black and a white Jack Purcell. Companies sometimes seem under such a pressure to create new designs, that they need a known designer to present something classic and simple again, without that being taken as boring in the mind of the consumer. It seems to work!
