Sometimes one has the impression that Converse is always doing the same thing, the same shoes. But if you look closely it is actually pretty impressive what they have been able to do with a few models and especially lately are gaining more and more momentum again.
Here we show you now that Converse is not always doing the same and show you how they create great looking new shoes by adding nice details to their line. Since there are so many colorways and designs every season we concentrate on the ones that have something special and that interested us the most.
For Spring they have the Chuck Taylor “Simple Detail”, which means translated that they oversized all elements of the sneaker. The wholes, the laces, the logo, it’s all oversized. Another interesting model is the “Yes/No” design of the Chuck Taylor low. The toe caps come in two colorways and feature designs on them. Our favorite edition for Spring and especially later on summer is the new Chuck Taylor low “Slip”. You can bent the heel down and just slip in and they come in all sorts of different colorways in all suede. Looks very premium and nice. They also feature the nice system without laces just like the Varvatos. Last but not least you have the camouflage designs, some nice skull designs that always look good and a really nice Vintage Jack Purcell, that is 100% based on the one first launched.
Check them all out after the jump.
