DC x Mighty Healthy Double Lable Project

As part of its Double Label™ series, DC presents the Striker Mighty Healthy shoe for Spring 2007. The collaboration with New York based clothing line Mighty Healthy is a highlight of DC’s upcoming LIFE collection.

DC’s new LIFE collection is the first full line of fashion, art and music inspired footwear pieces. Combining DC’s strength in performance skateboarding footwear and the success of DC’s Special Projects Series, the LIFE Collection showcases DC’s pursuit for innovation in footwear design.

A distinct twist on DC’s popular Striker, the Mighty Healthy shoe features faux ostrich print black leather. Gold stitching accents the shoe’s purple sole and insoles while Mighty Healthy’s logo adorns the shoes’ tongues with a matching gold stamp.

Mighty Healthy officially stepped onto the fashion scene in 2004 with its New York inspired line when founders Ray Mate and Denis Iderman began Mighty Healthy as a creative collaboration that reflected their life and experiences. The DC collaboration is the latest of their creative ventures.
