Common Projects is still a rather new sneaker company, focusing on high end sneakers. They have been around for a couple of years now and have had quite some success already. Most of their sneakers take inspiration from classic tennis sneakers. Many times they give these a used, vintage look. Their sneakers only come in the best materials, comparable to Yamamoto sneakers and others of that league. An interesting features of Common Projects is the serial number and size indication, which is always printed on the outside of the shoe, towards the back heel in gold.
Until now Common Projects has not done any advertising or marketing, as they do not want to be labeled or pushed into a specific segement. Check out their Spring/Summer 2007 collection after the jump, where they present hi-tops and lo-tops, mid and slip-on sneakers in different colorways and manage to keep it exciting without playing around with any bling features or crazy colorways. You can already find Common Projects in stores such as Arrive Miami, Nom de Guerre NYC, Nomad, United Arrows and Colette.
