Nike x Wieden + Kennedy 25th Anniversary Sneaker

Not only the Nike Air Force 1 turns 25 this year, also the worlds largest privately owned advertising agency, Wieden + Kennedy turned 25 this year. For that occasion they organized the Wieden + Kennedy founders day, that Alchemi reports on.
On that day various speakers came onto stage to give Wieden + Kennedy employees interesting speeches and also the W + K x Nike shoes were revealed. A team of Nike people and a team of W + K people created together a hybrid of the Nike Free Trail x Air Trainer 1 x Dunk in several colorways, each representing one city that W + K has offices in. The sneaker celebrates the anniversary of the firm and also the relationship they had with Nike throughout that entire time. On the pictures after the jump you see the model made for Portland. The shoe features the W + K logo on the back heel, as well as a special inner and outer sole. All in all they kept it simple and created a very special sneaker. Less than 1000 pairs were created for the occasion, but for now it’s not clear yet if these will be available for purchase or of it will be a sneaker only released to W + K employees.
