Y3 S/S 07 Footwear

Here we present you now the new Spring/Summer 2007 footwear collection of Y3, the collaboration collection of Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto. In the beginning, when the collection was launched, colorways were very crazy, materials as well and the price was so elevated that people did not really except the collection. Competing in terms of strategy and price with the likes of Prada and Gucci in the more athletic wear department, you could regularly find Y3 goods during sales seasons around the world.
In the meantime the brand has evolved, and somewhat come to its senses. The new Spring/Summer 2007 collection presents mostly simple styles, in nice colorways. Definitely still special pieces, but not too crazy and the price compared to the beginning, while still being high, has come down a little. If you are looking for a sneaker for at night, Y3 offers a nice selection and their pieces stand out more because of good quality and nice details, rather than simply being flashy. You can find completely new models in the collection, but also nice twists of sneakers with heritage. Finally the attributes that you find on so many Japanese collections, also can be found on this line, which it should have been from the start.
