Michalksky Launched

Those of you not familiar with Michael Michalsky, here a little run-down on his career. He started as a designer at Levis Germany and soon after left to Adidas to become their global design director in 2000. He created the Y3 collaboration collection with Yohji Yamamoto at the time. Since 2005 he is also creative director of MCM, and was thus in charge for that nice MOB collaboration bag that we presented to you recently.
Now he created his own brand  – Michalsky. There is a sports line, a more dressed up line and a denim line being launched under his label. You can clearly see the Japanese inspiration in his collection, that are on one side very simplistic, but present a lot of attention to detail and special features. You can now check out on his website his Fall/Winter 07/08 collections! Certainly something exciting to look out for!
