Concentrating entirely on t-shirts, Uniqlo, the Japanese fashion store chain, will open the Universal Time Store in Harajuko, Japan. The store is very well designed and is full of t-shirts sold via vending machines and packaged in nice bottles. Right to start with they have many special waiting for their customers, including a collaboration with Pantone, the National Art Museum and the photographer Terry Richardson. For the opening a Terry Richardson exhibition will be held as of April 28th. Via Honeyee.
Certainly something to look out for and hopefully soon one of these stores will also pop up outside of Japan.
