Jigga Vara by Yuhzimi Originals

Yuhzimi was founded in 2004 by Dave Marshal and Arci Friede as an event and promotion agency for the legendary Wasserwerk Club and soon became what we call „an interdisciplinary task force operating in the fields of arts and communication“. We worked with MIA, DJ Diplo, Spank Rock, Bonde do Role, The Valentinos, Peaches, James Lavelle, Mighty Crown, DJ Mehdi, and many others during the last 3 years. In early 2006 Yuhzimi teamed up with WK Interact, Fafi and streetwear icon Hardy Blechman of Maharishi to produce „Urban Survivor“, a limited edition series of the world famous Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. The product was sold at street culture conaisseur boutiques like Colette (Paris), The Reed Space (New York & Tokyo), Playground (Bangkok), 8Five2 (Hong Kong), EM-COOP (Los Angeles) In4mation (Hawaii) and gained the attention of the international lifestyle press and niche media.
Together with fashion designer Kathrin Bickel (ex Silas & Maria, London / ex Malko Malka, Tokyo) and streetwear nerd Simon *Trickle* Muster Yuhzimi recently founded the fashion brand YO (Yuhzimi Originals). YO is a „tale à porter“ about fashion, arts, music and politics. Here you see now the first result of the YO brand with the Jigga Vara t-shirt. The tee is right now getting into stores worldwide in two colorways (black/white) and has already arrived at Essence and 5 & A Dime.
