Here you see two t-shirts designed by Benny Gold for Mash SF, which will be exclusively available at Beams in Japan. The artwork is based on their love for bikes, especially with one gear.
“The 1 love stencil is a take on the popular reggae saying. I used the saying and related it to biking. SF has love for riding with 1 gear. The foam hand is a play on the popular sport team #1 hands they give out at sporting events. This design talks to the single speed riding in the video and the popular belief that it is the #1 way to ride in sf. I had to cut the stencil for the artwork and spray paint it to make it look right.”
