Mekanism x Peter Zimmermann

For their first project in 2007, Mekanism Skateboards gave carte blanche to the artist Peter Zimmermann. For this project the artist created 50 unique skateboards, all painted with epoxy resin. Usually working on flat canvases this was a difficult project for the artist to work on a curved surface. Special paint has been mixed so that it would not run off of the edges. The outcome is very impressive.
Mekanism continues to create unique projects, in an area where one thinks to have seen it all. Check out some more pictures after the jump.
