Under the initiative “Drop Sneakers Not Bombs”, Active gets together with 7 sneaker companies to launch Active exclusives. They got together with Nike on the Free Rod (that we presented to you earlier this week), Es, Emerica, DC, Lakai, DVS, and Vans. 7 exclusive shoes are being launched on 7/7/07 at all Active retail locations. Art direction has been provided by Shepard Fairey and proceeds from the shoes are going to combat youth being forced into the military in Africa (www.invisiblechildren.com).
Today we present you a first look at the Vans collaboration. A nice initiative that we can expect a lot from and a nice cause as well.
