Nike Tech Pack Footwear Collection – AM90 360/ Okwahn/ Rhyolite

The Nike Sport Culture Design Team was challenged to create three shoes that would complement the Tech Pack apparel collection. Having worked with Sophnet creator Hirofuma Kiyonaga to re-release ACG pieces in Kiyonaga’s Japanese boutiques, Nike Designer Jesse Leyva saw parity between Tech Pack’s forward-thinking clothing designs and Kiyonaga’s next limited-edition offering. For the footwear, the Team chose to re-work the Air Rhyolite, the Okwahn and the Air Max 90.

Taking into account the durable materials used in Tech Pack jackets—which are built to withstand the intensity of city living, the Air Rhyolite boot was an obvious choice for attacking the urban jungle. The boot will be available in two colorways: Black/Var Purple and Umber/Black-Sail.
The Okwahn is a bouldering shoe that maintains a rugged appearance despite its more elegant, low-profile design. Like the Air Rhyolite, the Nike Tech Pack Okwahn will be available in Black/Var Purple and Umber/Black-Sail.
The Tech Pack Air Max 90’s you have mostly seen already. The Sport Culture Design Team chose the Nike Air Max 90 to match the vibe of the Windrunner.
The running shoe was a top performer of its day, featuring breathable mesh upper, ample cushioning and bold overlapping panels of color. Here we present you the Nike Air Max 90 360 that is part of the collection.
