Kevin ”Saer” Leong proudly presents his signature collection Origami. The collection is based on the ancient Asian art of folding paper. The collection will only be available to select retailers on a limited distribution. This after it was successfully launched with a special collection designed for Hampton retailer Blue and Cream. The collection features Italian red salvage denim, lamb, wool and cashmere jackets, and shirts.
Here we present you one of the signature pieces out of the collection, the puffer vest – a collaboration with DuPont on a Tyvek® puffer vest stuffed with $5,000 in shredded U.S. Currency. The reversible vest is lined with transparent mesh to expose the currency which also doubles as down. Limited to only 100 pieces, the vest stays synonymous with the name of the luxury brand by combining attributes such as geometric corner folds and crease patterns on high quality fabrics. The art of paper folding indeed.
Definitely an interesting approach and something to watch!
