converse skidgrip - highsnobiety
Along with their 100 anniversary celebrations, Converse brings back the Skidgrip, a shoe first introduced in 1940. They gave the shoe, which is similar to the Vans Era, a vintage look with a worn-out sole and present it for Spring ‘08 in two colorways – the one that you see above and another one inspired by the American flag.
The Converse Skidgrip is now available at Shoe Planet. More pics after the jump.

  1. Bert:

    Hello,

I’ve been unable to find anywhere the “Bars & Stars” or “American Flag” Skid Grips sell. I contacted Shoe Planet and they will NOT ship to the USA. I’ve been looking for these sneakers in my size (US 10+/- .5) for close to a year unsuccessfully.

Does anyone know of a store selling these in the USA or willing to ship to the USA?
