highsnobiety - art for the masses
The Museum of Tomorrow, in Taiwan, opens Art for the Masses this Friday. A small capsule show, the exhibition incorporates the work of five of China’s most promenant artists. For Jing Yu, Zhou Jun Ya, Liu Ye, Zhue Te Hi and Yu Mingun the medium is vinyl toys. The highlight is a collaboration between KAWS and Yu Mingun (famed for his "laughing" portraits and noted for selling at high prices). All the artists work is being reproduced in a limited run for sale in the Museum shop. (via freshness).
