Cardboard Bicycle

One of the pressing issues of bike ownership is bike theft. Heartbreaking to see you beloved two wheeled friend disappear. Phil Bridge is a design student from Sheffield, his answer to bike theft, design a bike so cheap it isn’t worth taking. In that spirit, he developed the Cardboard Bike as part of his industrial design degree program. The frame of the bike is made of sturdy hexacomb board, with the other bike components as they would be normally. The Sheffield Hallam student hopes to find investors to make his design a product reality. We’ll see. (via inhabitat).
