highsnobiety - Kehinde Wiley at the Studio Museum Harlem
Earlier in the week we reported the opening of Kehinde Wiley’s first solo show. Mounted at the Studio Museum Harlem, The World Stage: Africa presents a group of work painted during the artists time in Dakar and Lagos. Thanks to THE ART COLLECTORS, you get a great sense of the scale of Wiley’s work. His is a welcome return to The Studio Museum, the very place his experiments with contemporary subject in 18th century pose came to life.
More examples of Wiley’s work after the jump.
