highsnobiety - Fashion Vs. Sport @ Victoria and Albert Museum
Exploring the creative connection between sports and fashion, "Fashion Vs. Sport,"reveals both tensions and complexities between the two industries. With sportswear becoming an increasingly important portion of the modern wardrobee see an ever building merger of high fashion and purely casual/athletic clothing. The result can be fantastic. It can also be bland.
Just how the two influence each other is the core subject of this exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London. Opening this week, "Fashion v. Sport" runs until just after the new year. For those of you unable to travel over, the V&A has produced a nice companion book. The exhibition also comes in an online version.
