highsnobiety - Roots Manuva
Could this be the year of London MCs get their worldwide dues? Estelle has been making moves, for sure. Stockwell’s finest, Mr. Roddy Rod the Roots Manuva has got something new as well. Slime & Reason drops off Big Dada on September 30. Expect the ecclectic ragga/bashment sound Roots Manuva has perfected since Brand New Second Hand. While your waiting, check for his slots on DJ MK tapes and Dark Horizon mix cassettes. If the new album is have as good as "Dreamy Days," it will murder most things out.
Oh, and the album cover is pretty sick, peep that after the jump.
