Tofer Chin might be best known for his diorama at the Hundreds LA store. He is also a master of 3D effect. As Bobby Hundreds notes, “Tofer draws on Op-Art techniques to get his illusions across, providing dimension and distortion to his paintings.” His new works are presented by Commissary Arts in Venice, CA. The show is titled “VIVID.” The underlying theory behind the paintings represents all the good stuff (sex, drugs, experimentation, questioning religion).
The show is open Thursday through Saturday at Commissary Arts until Oct. 25.
