highsnobiety - S.N.S. Herning For Comme Des Garcons

For the second season already, S.N.S. Herning has produced a series of knitted pieces for Comme Des Garcons. Last season we something a little more extreme – they used neon colors on their classic naval knits. This season is more classic and they used a navy/yellow colorway on all pieces.

Tres Bien has the entire new S.N.S. Herning x Comme Des Garcons in stock now.

More detailed images after the jump.

  1. Hi I am a bit confused since which is the original Danish sailor/seaman’s sweater.
I have been trying to find out by contacting the company I Denmark by phone (they have no phone number) and by mail but without luck.
There is another company claiming to have a patent on making these sweaters in Denmark called “Sailor”.
The “Sailor” Sweater is sold by a internet shop called http://www.ankerole.dk to the price of 83€ whilst the SNS counterpart easily costs 200€.
I have contacted Ankerole.dk and they confirm that the “Sailor knit is patented, and it looks nand feels like the two are identical.

    What is going on?

    Best regards

    Simon
