i used to love alife but im getting really sick of them lately. they used to have just a few colorways of the everybody lo/hi each season and that was great...not like youd have to camp out to get some, but you could also be pretty confident youre not going to run into someone with the same sneakers...now they keep churning out all these new models...but what bothers me even more is that every single new model is a shameless copy of another brand (the era, the chukka, new balance running shoes, and in this case common projects hi tops)...alife is just not doing their own thing any more. no way am i going to pay $200 or whatever these cost for a poorly made version of someone else\'s shoe.

a few years ago, i thought alife was one of the freshest, coolest brands out there. now everything i see from them is a knockoff of something else or pure branding (the alife timberlands).

its really a shame...
