Several previews have circulated the Internet already and now the release is finally coming. The Hundreds Footware (in this case not spelled Footwear) present the Johnson Mid Top sneaker.

The Johnson Mid Top fuses overall four iconic cali-centric lifestyle shoes. A classic, timeless silhouette, the Johnson Mid Top comes in this first release in suede and nubuck leathers, with a JAGS embossed gum sole, and vulcanized sole for more comfort. Furthermore the sneaker is accented with a silver top lace-hole and tonal foxing.

The Hundreds Johnson Mid Top comes in four colorways and will be released this coming Thursday, October 30th, at both the Los Angeles and the San Francisco stores, as well as selected retailers.

Have a detailed look at the sneaker after the jump.

  1. “The Johnson Mid Top fuses overall four iconic cali-centric lifestyle shoes. A classic, timeless silhouette”

seriously H.S.?? you guys can’t grow a pair and call out the hundreds for being the 73rd company now to come out with a fucking exact replica of the original ‘iconic cali-centric lifestyle show’; vans authentics ??

it’s frustrating when you guys butter everyones balls for the sake of saving face instead of saying something along the lines of: ‘well, the hundreds USED to be different and some would say a stand out label, now they’re following the masses like every other company out there and making an vans-esque sneaker which is barely distinguishable from the actual Authentic or Era. what a shame’

nope. you guys talk about how cool the 4 colorways with a vulc sole is. really different and edgy.

please just fucking grow a pair. fuck.

Jesus, Chip, it was just taken from the official hundreds write up
Don’t need to go on a rampage

who cares!! call them out! you’re still posting it on the site aren’t you?

  4. We had to describe the shoes in some way and to be honest, how many original sneaker designs are coming out these days? not that many. I honestly think the shoe is looking good. Is it ground-breaking? No. Is the design something completely new? No. But its nice and wearable and comes in some good colors. Thats what matters in the end.

Also, The Hundreds are the first brand to go seriously into footwear, if you look at the brands that were founded around them.
