Heartless from kwest on Vimeo.

Kanye West gives us a look at the Heartless video, the second single from his much anticipated 808s & Heartbreak album that will be releasing soon. Once again Kanye uses an animated video, much different from what we have seen before. The video was directed by none other than Hype Williams.

  1. Even though they said that rotoscoping requires little creativity from VFX artists, I do think is still needs a dapple of creative input. After Richard Lanklater’s films A Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly, most if not all have adopted that rotoscoping effect. However for Kanye\’s video, I really like the old school cartoon effect. The music really fit the video, I like it a lot.
