Vans and Proper once again get together, and this time present probably the largest collaborative effort to ever come from the two. They worked on a series styles and the outcome is a really strong collaboration, that impresses with its quality and details, rather than with loud design.

The two collaborated on the Native American, Authentic Low and Chukka Del Barco LX, some of which come in several colorways. Small details include custom logos and tags on each sneaker, as well as a good choice of materials and colors. Check out the Sneaker Freaker interview with the Proper people on the project here.

Detailed images of the Vans x Proper Holiday 2008 collection follow after the jump.

  1. rob:

for the life of me i do not understand why these companies put product on various blogs and websites without any mention of how to purchase product.

  2. person who agrees with rob:

i totally agree with you rob, when i went to proper’s website, i found some really cool looking custom Authentic Vans. NOWHERE on their site did they say how or where I could purchase the kicks.
