Aaron Bondaroff and Al Moran kicked off Art Basel Miami this year in a legendary way. Over 2,000 artists, collectors, curators showed up at this full-on hipster throwdown at the duos newly inaugurated Miami space O.H.W.O.W. The exhibition, titled IT AIN’T FAIR, provided the perfect antidote to art fairs and a fresh approach to art collaborations. A star-studded group of curators and artists came together through painting, sculpture, video, performance and product to make something larger than the sum of their parts. Featuring Deitch Projects, Peres Projects, Nueva Galeria De La Barra, A.S.S. Gallery, AMP, Picturebox and TV Books with curators Tim Barber, Kathy Grayson, Andreas Melas, Dan Nadel, Pablo de la Barra, Nicola Vassell and Terence Koh.

Some of the featured artists at IT AIN’T FAIR include Tauba Auerbach, Stefan Bondell, Julia Burlingham, Scott Campbell, Kenneth Cappello, Comeau, Mark Delong, Chris Dorland, Phil Frost, Patrick Griffin, Evan Gruzis, Brandon Herman, Gordon Hull, Ben Jones, Kim Krans, Lachance, Adriana Lara, Jason Matthew Lee, Allan Macintyre, Slava Mogutin, Noble, Jason Nocito, Rallou Panagiotou, Ara Peterson, Brad Phillips, Esther Planas, Michael Schmelling, Aurel Schmidt, Robin Schwartz, Ben Schumacher, Shinique Smith, Agathe Snow, Dash Snow, Francine Spiegel, Kon Trubkovich, Solange Umutoni, Jaimie Warren plus many more.

If you missed the opener, don’t sweat it. Tonight is the official opening of the show and it promises to be even grander than the first night. The word is out all over town that this is the place to be at. Performances by The Gossip and Spankrock will surely draw the crowds in, so make sure you plan accordingly!

Many images from the pre-opening of “It Ain’t Fair” follow after the jump.
