I totally agree with perz on this matter – adio did not get together with mishka because of their skate history, but because of their design skills. Should Kaws not work with Marc Jacobs because Marc Jacobs has no graffiti background? This discussion could go on for ever and does not make any sense. A collaboration should bring something to both entities that they would NOT have without one another – mishka gets to make their first sneaker and adio gets a good looking sneaker, that might not be rocked to skate, but is still a nice shoe. How many people wear their new Supra Skytop on the skateboard? Trust me, not that many.

I sort of look at these as something outside of a skateboard shoe, there\’s nothing wrong with that either – dvs, lakai, vans all have their \’luxe\’ or \’vault\’ type shoes, stuff that\’s never really intended to be skated. A lot it is hit or miss too, but if you\’re gonna knock someone for not having a \’skate history\’, well blame the company who makes the skateboard product for doing a collaboration with a company outside of skateboarding. I think the shoe is pretty dope, it\’s certainly MISHKA, I mean there\’s no doubt that if you see this shoe around you\’re thinking of mishka before you\’re thinking adio.

i’m sure they are shooting just a good looking shoe, not for it to be a massive shoe you actually skate in.

i like it personally, but if i’m looking for skate shoes i would go to with others, but shoes to wear around i would for sure go with these.

Mishka has no skate history
Mishka guys should not even touch the skate market
Also Adio is like the C team of Skate sneakers

Read the interview about the skate shoe….no skate references

Don\’t get me wrong Mishka is a good brand but this was a bad decision just like the snowboard collab.
