As much as we are impressed by the Vael Project Footwear Collection, we have to admit that we got most excited when we first saw their line-up of bags for Holiday 2008. A couple of months ago, Japanese Huge Magazine had a spread of hiking/outdoor inspired goods, including boots, clothing and also accessories. Somewhere in there we first stumbled across the bags and were really excited to find out that it was a Vael collection, because that means that it will actually be available outside of Japan.
The collection consists of several messenger bags and in our mind the center piece – the rucksack. All bags come in a mix of premium leathers and canvas, perfectly translating into a high end mountain look with nice leather and metal details.
