The Art of the Video Game is the first book to tackle the artistic side of video game design. Written by journalist Josh Jenish, the book takes examples from the likes of Electronic Arts and Konami. Images are complemented by interviews with leading game designers.
Available from Quirk Books, The Art of the Video Game follows some institutional interest in gaming, notably the 2006 exhibition Game On at London’s Science Museum.
