actually it\'s a collectors item for graffiti/fashion designer icon Stephen Sprouse. In 2001 he did a callabo with louis vuitton and marc jacob for throwing neon paint on a louis v. bag and sold it. He died in 2004 and in memory of him they released this board for him as well as some items from that callabo. so no it wasn\'t pharrell or kanye west. the board just looks like a collectors item, it has like 4 layers of wood, i wouldn''t be surprised if the board snapped in half in less than a week.

philistines, who the fuck cares if you can\'t afford it? Not the guys who\'s gonna buy it.
There\'s a reason why its expensive-- ITS Louis Vuitton!! This is what has been going on in the sneaker and skate culture for years and now you can see for yourself. Exclusivity is the only reason why we buy this shit, same with brands such as nike and all that bull. Kanye or Pharrell could of influenced these guys for all we know but in the end we\'d be fucken gratified just to cope one more item that very few or none own in the world.
Brand name + Famous Collabed Artist/ Famous under the radar brands= profits
unless you\'re involve, the makers or industry won\'t give two shits.

El, I have looked him up on wikipedia on your request and there is next to nothing about skateboarding on there.

if Sprouse really believed in skateboarding and anything to do with that culture and was alive today he would have to be be disgusted with the price tag for this shit. No one is disputing his work in fashion or the art world but an eight grand skateboard isn\\\'t a \\\'homage\\\', its just mad profiteering on the part of Lois Vuitton. Im sure plenty of rich idiots will buy it.

Food for thought : although he\\\'s not dead, the Marc Jacobs / Vans shoe collab sells for $40.

You all need to do your homework before you go spouting off some shit. Sprouse and LV collabed back in 2001, while he was still alive, doing the same type of shit. Do you even know who Stephen Sprouse is? This all would make sense if you actually knew what you were talking about. You should be thanking Sprouse for giving an identity to \

Dog! This is some bull ass shit! WTF, does Louis have to do with skating?! I swear man, we must be in some sort of recession if brands like Loui V have to step down their lil pedistools and make dollars off us. Sick, sad world!

Wow! Louis Vitton, REALLY GETS ME!
I mean I skateboard, and I can\'t wait to spend 6 months of rent on a trunk and on a substandard skateboard.

It\'s like they weren\'t a Bourgeois luxury trunk company, that has been profiting off of the vanity of the bloatedly rich, and all who wish to imitate their look in order to seem more important, and more like a streetwise, below the radar, young subversive company with my age group (18-24) truly in mind!

Wow I really can\'t wait to get my hands on this Collectible, so I can turn it around for twice the price to some idiot that actually thinks it\'d be cool to own.

Are you insane?? This is one of the lamest collabs ever. If anyone who buys one of these can even stand on the trunk without falling off, let alone the board, I will eat the \'orrible BAPE trainers they are no doubt wearing as they do so. Stick to over-priced tat for dead-eyed Euro-trash heiresses, LV. What next - the Stella McCartney fixie? Actually, scrap that - it probably exists in some marketing moron\'s head just waiting to be still-born.
