3) Finally: the word “gay” is not a synonym for stupid or anything else to that effect. Using “gay” as a negative is immature and perpetuates bigotry, whether you intend to do so or not. And if you don’t like LGBT individuals, you should probably leave fashion blogs and the fashion world in general. End of story.

1) Stephen Sprouse passed away in 2004. The collection is a tribute to him done by Marc Jacobs, who previously worked with him in 2001.

The “STREETS”? Half the dudes I see in the “STREET” wear white tees, Girbaud straps, and ones. Your knowledge of the existence of sites like highsnobiety make you as much of a borrower or murderer of the “STREET” as Louis Vuitton or anyone else that wants to permanently or temporarily separate themselves from their surroundings, competition, whatever.

Yeah, these collabs are pretty gay… how about they stick to their usual monotonous and repetitive LV prints…And stop trying to be “cool”

Who is this supposed to appeal to? Rich poser kids who know nothing of the “streets”
I mean after all this is street culture styled things, and yet no one on the streets could afford any of these. This is the death of culture, not a borrowing. Mainstreaming is another word for Murder.

Then again, kudos to the artist doing the collabo who is probably getting mad loot for this.
