As iconic sneakers go, the Stan Smith, Campus and Superstar remain unsurpassed, and having undergone several aesthetic alterations during their collective lifetimes, the ’80’s represents their street level zenith, with these shoes exiting the courts to become essential fashion items in their own right. Arguably the ultimate incarnation of each model, with the alterations in shape affording these silhouettes some extra attitude, and firing the imaginations of nascent sneakerheads globally, the appeal remains, and this 80’s Pack, with a navy suede Campus 80’s, white Superstar 80’s with black 3-Stripes, and the familiar white and green Stan Smith 80’s, sees this trio in fine form, looking as strong as ever. Absolutely essential.

Michael Jackson was “Beating It” and fashion-first sneakerheads were adidas-ed down. The ’80s proved to be a crucial decade for The Brand With Three Stripes, as the adidas Stan Smith, Superstar, and Campus all remained popular cornerstones on store shelves and on peeps feet. To properly celebrate the period, the brand is releasing the aforementioned models in the exact materials and colorways they released in nearly 30 years (Yikes!) ago in the aptly named “adidas 80’,Air jordan VII;s Pack.” Expect to see the shoes at your favorite adidas retailer soon.
