We give you a first look at the adidas SLVR Spring/Summer 2009 footwear. With the introduction of this new collection, adidas introduces an interesting sportswear alternative. Clean lines, subtle colors, nice cuts and innovative looks make up the collection and also the footwear. The line-up includes both high top and low top trainers with minimal branding, only coming in black and white colorways.

The collection will be available soon at dedicated adidas SLVR flagship stores in New York and Miami, as well as a very few adidas stores around the globe. Take a look at the full collection here.

After the jump you can see more images of the adidas SLVR Spring/Summer 2009 Footwear.

  1. @#$%:

Hopefully more items will breed my interest because looking at this stuff makes me think I’ll just stick with y-3

  2. I agree, it has some similarities, but overall SLVR is more subtle and in my opinion certainly deserves space in the market, especially the clothing actually.

  3. To me the Y3 and SLVR markets are very different, at least in the UK. Y3 is, it seems, bought by those who like heavily branded sportswear and want everyone else to know how expensive stuff is (despite not knowing you can’t buy taste). SLVR on the other hand seems to be about clean lines and the absolute minimum of branding; thus appealing to those who want modern, clean takes on clothing whilst disliking sportswear in general.
