We present you the new Nike Sportswear Air Royal, that is being introduced this Spring/Summer 2009 season in both a hi and a lo version. The sneaker comes with a slimmer silhouette, compared to Nike’s classics such as the Dunk and the Air Force 1, making it a more casual sneaker.
The Air Royal Hi comes in a grey and a black colorway, the Air Royal Lo comes in brown and black. All four styles feature an embossed Nike Swoosh and the leather upper goes over into the mid-sole, which is a pretty interesting element of this new sneaker. Overall the Air Royal has a very clean and premium look.

I got the grey ones and I love them, the 3M Scotchbrite reflective tape beneath the perforations is so mint. But they are rubbing quite uncomfortably inside where the tongue meets the side of the shoe, just under where the laces end near the toe… could have a bad production flaw perhaps…
