Is that a joke about the sole representing “the marble courtroom floors of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the African American culture won many civil rights battles”? Um, it’s just a clear outsole. Is marble clear? I wish people would stop over-conceptualising parts of shoes. I’d love to have seen the meetings where they tried to work out how the hell to justify the clear sole as part of the concept – especially when that concept appears to be just piggybacking off social issues in order to make money out of shoes…
