you got that right – GetAlong – both of these spots bring their own heat. And Although I don\’t frequent Bistro much since its a little far from me, I respect them for their entrepreneurial spirit. I agree with RealTalk. Both stores need to grow up, yes you are both boutique stores and sell similar thing, but is it really necessary to be talking trash about each other, and making your problems public for every one to see???? Its not necessary and it is so juvenile. It makes both Butter and Bistro look bad and immature. Both stores have a strong separate following and you arent even close to each other, so there is no point for this constant competition between you guys. Honestly from an outsiders point of view, seeing this constant bickering and immaturity, makes me not want to go to either of these stores. I mean is that what you do on your spare time, look up things to bash each other about??? Come on now….how pathetic does that sound?? I think you guys seriously need to get together and talk out your differences, because this is unhealthy and very unprofessional.

Instead of talking shit, stores should be working together to help make the culture continue to thrive. However the idea of competition is taken way out of context when immature adults spread false rumors about other stores, because their so called business acumen makes them think that doing so will give them a leg up on their competition. Both of these stores, are literally an hour away from sneaker bistro boutique and should not even be a concern for them. Long Island is becoming a destination spot, and stores should be working with eachother to help drive home this idea, not to deter people from making the trip. Considering the close proximity city boutiques have with eachother, especially ones who carry the same if not similar product, are all able to do their own thing and not really give a shit about what other stores do. That’s what this culture is all about. Unhealthy competition is a negative way to go about conducting a business.

It’s turning into a debate because employees from Butter and EastWest and their (ahem) loyal customers are leaving immature comments here about why butter is on the t-shirt…it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH EXTRA BUTTER…read the recipe on the insole…that’s why butter is on the shirt…and that’s the same reason why garlic is the dot on the “i” in Bistro…sticking with the food theme of the store and the shoe…get over yourselves, seriously…who cares…people shop where they want to shop, people buy what they want to buy, and people support who and where they want to support…Sally, Eaze DaMan, grow up…and if you are a rep from a clothing company or work at one of these stores leaving these comments you are especially retarded and seriously need to grow up, for real…I don’t have any affiliation with the Bistro except for the fact that I shop there…but I also shop at EastWest from time-to-time…so why can’t you other idiots just leave it at the Bistro dropped a dope collaboration, it was successful for them, and leave it alone? Do your own thing and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing…

Is this really turning into a debate? Look at the respect Butter gets from the brands they work with, and how they execute everything. Its no question that its just better at butter.
Clearly a stupid mistake was made giving props tp Butter by putting them on the shirt like that, but maybe it was unavoidable being that butter is so often they key ingredient.
I know cats want the shirt but they don’t respond to order inquiries on their site, nor do they let the comments fly which is basically admitting they goofed up.
Perhaps the shrimp is symbollic for something else? Who knows?

i been to all three stores and sneaker bistro store service is great, all sneakers are box price or maybe even less… east west is a cool store but they over charge on everything plus i feel like crackheads shop there because they sell weed bogs in the back… extra butter i been there once but i left as soon as i walked in because they carry Nike 6.0…
