Walrus TV Artist Feature: Slick

21 April 2009, 09.25 | Posted in Art | 1 comment »

In this week’s edition of Walrus TV, graffiti legend SLICK tells us how he earned his name while he was in Catholic school. SLICK was a troublemaker as a kid, and it was his penchant for vandalism that actually lead him to art school. Ironically, he stumbled into his crew while at Otis Parson in Los Angeles. SLICK showcased his talent in the streets, and like many artists, has seamlessly made the transition into the gallery. He’s had a long career and his art has been shown everywhere from films, album covers and music videos. Learn more about SLICK on this new Walrus TV episode.

WOW….You have INCREDIBLE talent and you are very likeable. FYI, for the most part they no longer burn the six dots on their heads, however, those who did…..did it to represent the six vows. Keep Rocking ! Rachel
