I have a Patagonia Stormfront Dry Pack, that I got for 250 USD, probably less than the price of this cover, that will keep water out under any conditions. It look\\\'s good too. If I ever need a technical bag I use it. If I want the be stylish I go Louis Vuitton. I love visvim but, high priced, unnecessary accessories, like this one, kill my closet space. To each their own, for me this is no \\

True, they are extremely durable, but they are not water proof. And trust me, when its coming down in buckets, you do not want to see your 600 USD backpack get ruined.
