    a couple of years back, I used to have a head porter wallet that had a velcro enclosure. I was in the checkout line of the grocery store with a girl I had been interested in at the time, and as soon as I whipped out my wallet to pay, she noticed the crackling velcro sound and bluntly asked me,

    “are you 12 years old?”

    needless to say, I immediately switched wallets. and that is why velcro wallets, no matter the pricepoint or label stitched onto it, are not cool. don’t waste your money.
